Among them, top banks offering high interest rates for various terms include: HDBank,SHB , NamABank, OCB, OceanBank, PVcomBank...
Specifically, PVcomBank's interest rate schedule at the beginning of 2024 shows that the highest interest rate of 10% is for 12-month savings deposits. This applies when customers deposit money at the counter, with a deposit balance of 2,000 billion VND or more.
In addition, PVcomBank also lists interest rates above 5% for terms of 18 months, 24 months, and 36 months.
Next is HDBank , offering the highest interest rate of up to 8% when customers deposit savings for 12 months with a balance of 300 billion VND or more.
In addition, HDBank also offers deposit terms with high interest rates above 6%, including: 18 months, 24 months, and 36 months.
In early 2024, SHB also ranked among the banks offering high interest rates above 6% for various terms. Specifically, the 18-month term offered an interest rate of 6.1%; while the 24-month and 36-month terms offered an interest rate of 6.3%.
Similar to SHB,OCB's interest rate schedule at the beginning of 2024 shows many deposit terms with high interest rates. For example, the 18-month term has an interest rate of 6.1%; the 24-month and 36-month terms have an interest rate of 6.3%.
Among banks offering high interest rates, NamABank also features three terms with rates up to 6.1% (18 months, 24 months, and 36 months).
Meanwhile, a group of banks offer many savings interest rates below 3% for various terms.
Specifically, Vietcombank offers the lowest interest rate for a 3-month term, at only 2.2%. Next are Agribank, Vietinbank, and BIDV, all offering 2.5% for the same 3-month term.
Meanwhile, MB and Lienvietpostbank's interest rates for 3-month terms are 0.6 percentage points higher than Agribank, Vietinbank, and BIDV compared to the same period last year, at 3.1%.
