A Hanoi traffic police officer with a high sense of responsibility, while on duty, promptly stopped the hooliganism of some subjects who were assaulting people, thereby leaving a good image and receiving many compliments.

On the evening of December 2, speaking with CAND Newspaper reporters, Lieutenant Colonel Vuong Dang Cuong (Captain of Traffic Police Team No. 7, Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police) said that the incident took place during rush hour this morning in the Phuc La - Phung Hung area (Ha Dong Ward, Hanoi) and the traffic police officer was Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Viet Anh, an officer of the unit.

Specifically, at around 7:45 a.m. the same day, in front of house number 165, street 70 (Ha Dong ward, Hanoi), two subjects chased and attacked a young man. The fight lasted for more than a minute, injuring the victim. The two subjects' aggressiveness caused many people to witness it but did not dare to intervene.

After being beaten the first time, the young man was dragged onto a motorbike by the other men and an argument broke out. The man in the yellow shirt with tattoos continued to attack the victim a second time, causing him to fall to the ground, holding his head and bleeding.

At that time, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Viet Anh was on duty during rush hour traffic control in the Phuc La - Phung Hung area when he discovered the incident. Immediately, comrade Viet Anh approached the scene, firmly asked the two subjects to stop, and at the same time protected the safety of the victim.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Viet Anh stopped the hooliganism of two subjects and protected the victim.

Detecting the presence of traffic police, the two subjects tried to leave the scene but were stopped by Lieutenant Colonel Viet Anh who also notified the 113 force and Ha Dong Ward Police to assist and resolve the incident.

Witnessing the resolute action of Lieutenant Colonel Viet Anh to protect the victim and stop the thugs, many people expressed their support, gratitude, and appreciation for the sense of responsibility of the Capital Traffic Police officers because if there had not been timely prevention, the victim's life could have been in danger.
