On October 12th, Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Tien, Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Internal Affairs Department of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of houses for the families of Ms. Nguyen Thi Duan in Truong Trung commune and Ms. Le Thi Le in Minh Nghia commune (Nong Cong district).

Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Tien, Standing Committee Member and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department, along with other leaders of Nong Cong district, presented a donation of 80 million VND to support the construction of a house for Ms. Le Thi Le's family in Xuan Thanh village, Minh Nghia commune.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Duan, 97 years old, lives in Dong Xuan village, Truong Trung commune. Her family is classified as a poor household, and she is elderly and frail. Ms. Le Thi Le, 60 years old, lives in Xuan Thanh village, Minh Nghia commune. Her family is in particularly difficult circumstances, and she herself is a beneficiary of social welfare programs. For many years, Ms. Duan and Ms. Le have lived alone in dilapidated houses that do not meet living standards, and building new houses is beyond their means.

Sharing the difficulties with these families, Nong Cong district surveyed and provided support to help Ms. Duan and Ms. Le's families build new houses. Each house, with an area of ​​over 50 square ^meters , costs between 130 million and 150 million VND; of which Nong Cong district provided 80 million VND to each family from the fund of the campaign to support housing construction for poor households, policy beneficiary households, and households facing housing difficulties, as per Directive No. 22 of the Provincial Party Committee, launched by the district; the remaining amount was contributed by relatives in terms of money and labor. It is expected that the two houses will be completed and handed over to the families by the end of October 2024.

The Steering Committee for the implementation of Directive No. 22 in Nong Cong district also provided all the necessary floor tiles to Mrs. Duan's family, worth 4.5 million VND...
