On July 6, 2018, the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation - Association of Vietnamese Universities and Colleges awarded DNC the Certificate of Educational Quality Accreditation. This is an important milestone, affirming the school as an advanced, multi-disciplinary, multi-field training institution. According to statistics, over 90% of the school's graduates find employment after graduation and are highly valued by employers for their work capabilities.

Modern facilities

DNC boasts well-built lecture halls covering over 30 hectares, including 200 theoretical classrooms and over 30 laboratories and practical training rooms. The university has an electronic library center with modern architecture and integrated automated technology solutions; and dormitories with a capacity of approximately 2,000 students. In addition, the university has volleyball, basketball, badminton, and soccer courts, a supermarket, and a swimming pool to serve the recreational, sports , and living needs of students.

Recently, the university has commenced construction of the Nam Can Tho General Hospital with a total investment of over 800 billion VND, expected to be inaugurated and put into use by 2020, serving the practical training of health science students and providing medical services to the public; and the Nam Can Tho DNC Automobile Showroom with an investment of over 150 billion VND, expected to be inaugurated and put into use in December 2019, serving the practical training of engineering and technology students…

The business model within the school is one of DNC's highlights. Nam Mien Nam Group Joint Stock Company is a leading company in the field of design and construction, serving as an internship location for students in Engineering, Economics, Social Sciences and Humanities, and Environment. Nam Can Tho General Hospital Company Limited invests in the construction of Nam Can Tho General Hospital. Nam Can Tho DNC Trading Company Limited invests in the construction of an automobile showroom. In addition, the school collaborates with companies such as VinGroup, HDBank, ViettinBank, DHG Pharma, and Viettel, providing internship opportunities and employment for graduates.

International training partnerships, international cooperation

DNC has partnered with the University of Science and Technology Malaysia (MUST) to offer a Business Administration program, and many students are currently enrolled in this program. In addition, DNC has signed cooperation and training agreements with other universities, including the International University of Thailand's National Institute for Development and Management (ICO NIDA) and National Quemoy University in Taiwan. In the future, the university will strengthen its international training partnerships in areas where Vietnam is facing a shortage of skilled human resources.

In 2019, DNC offered admissions to 26 majors using 3 admission methods:

Method 1: Admission based on National High School Examination scores. Method 2: Admission based on high school academic transcripts. There are two ways to apply based on high school academic transcripts:

Method 1 : The average score for the three subjects considered for admission in the 12th grade must be ≥ 18 points.

Method 2: Average grade for the entire 12th grade year ≥ 6.0 points. Specifically for the Medical and Pharmacy majors, applicants must have a grade of "good" or higher in their 12th grade; for the Medical Laboratory Technology and Medical Imaging Technology majors, applicants must have a grade of " fair " or higher in their 12th grade . Method 3: Admission results are based on the results of the aptitude test administered by the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City.
