From July 3rd to 7th, candidates can check the list of eligible candidates admitted through the early admission methods to the International University (Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City) on the website: https://tracuuxt.hcmiu.edu.vn/.
Many candidates who were admitted through early admission methods were awarded scholarships.
Specifically, under the direct admission method and priority admission as regulated by the Ministry of Education and Training (method 2), 17 candidates met the admission criteria. Of these, 10 candidates met the admission criteria and received full scholarships for the first two years of study in their first-choice majors at the university.
In addition, the school has decided to award full scholarships for the first year to 7 candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for priority admission through this second method.
Candidates on the list of successful applicants through this method must follow the enrollment confirmation regulations to complete the procedure.
Using the method of prioritizing direct admission of excellent and talented high school students (method 3), the school announces the list of 5 eligible candidates and decides to award them partial scholarships for 4 years of study.
This list includes contestants who are representative of the following schools: Hung Vuong High School ( Binh Phuoc ), Tran Ky Phong High School (Quang Ngai), Phu Cat No. 2 High School (Binh Dinh), Thu Duc High School and Thu Khoa Huan High School (Ho Chi Minh City).
These candidates must adhere to the registration and admission confirmation regulations specifically published on the university's admissions website.
The cutoff scores for early admission to joint programs range from 21 to 30.
Admission cutoff scores for majors in joint training programs with foreign partners based on high school academic results in 2024 (Method 7).
Accordingly, the cutoff scores for the 20 undergraduate programs offered in collaboration with the university's partners range from 21 to 30 points. For some programs, the 30-point cutoff is calculated by multiplying the English score by 2 (on a 40-point scale). Specifically:
(*) The cutoff score for the English Language major is calculated on a 40-point scale (the English score is multiplied by a factor of 2).
The priority admission scores for joint programs are lower.
The admission cutoff scores for undergraduate programs using the priority admission method for outstanding high school students as regulated by the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City in 2024 (method 4) range from 21 to 38 points, with the cutoff score for the English Language major calculated on a 40-point scale (English score multiplied by a factor of 2).
