Hanoi University of Industry stops considering transcripts, adds 5 new combinations

(Dan Tri) - On December 17, Hanoi University of Industry announced new points in 2025 enrollment.


Accordingly, Hanoi University of Industry has abandoned the method of admission based on independent academic records.

It is expected that from 2025, candidates considering high school transcripts to enter schools must combine test scores to assess capacity or thinking, international certificates, and excellent student awards.

Also from 2025, the school plans to consider recruiting new combinations such as A0C (math, physics, technology), A0T (math, physics, information technology), B0C (math, chemistry, technology), D0C (math, English, technology), D0G (math, English, economic education and law).

Specifically, in 2025, Hanoi University of Industry plans to enroll 7,990 students for 62 regular university training programs/majors according to 5 admission methods (including 10 training programs in English).

Method 1: direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training , the school recruits without limit on enrollment quota.

Method 2, the school considers admission based on international certificate scores/excellent student awards combined with the total academic transcript scores of grades 10, 11, 12 of 3 subjects according to the admission combination, expected quota 10%.

Method 3, admission based on high school graduation exam results in 2025, expected target 80%.

Method 4, admission based on the results of the 2025 capacity assessment exam organized by Hanoi National University combined with the total score of the 10th, 11th, and 12th grade transcripts of 3 subjects according to the admission combination, expected quota of 5%.

Method 5, admission based on the results of the 2025 thinking assessment test organized by Hanoi University of Science and Technology combined with the total score of the entire year's transcripts of grades 10, 11, and 12 of 3 subjects according to the admission combination, expected quota of 5%.

Last year's enrollment season, Hanoi University of Industry increased its enrollment quota by 150 by opening two new majors/training programs: Information Security and Chinese Language, bringing the total number of majors and programs to 52.

Also in 2024, Hanoi University of Industry plans to spend 12 billion VND to award scholarships to students with excellent entrance scores or academic achievements. In addition, the school will award scholarships sponsored by businesses, with an amount of about 30 billion VND.

The expected admission criteria, methods and combinations of subjects for each major are as follows:
