(Dan Tri Newspaper) - On December 17th, Hanoi University of Industry announced new points in its 2025 admissions process.
Accordingly, Hanoi University of Industry has discontinued the independent admission method based on academic transcripts.
Starting in 2025, applicants applying to the school based on their academic records will be required to combine their scores with aptitude or critical thinking test scores, international certificates, and academic achievement awards.
Also starting in 2025, the school plans to consider new subject combinations for admission, such as A0C (Mathematics, Physics, Technology), A0T (Mathematics, Physics, Informatics), B0C (Mathematics, Chemistry, Technology), D0C (Mathematics, English, Technology), and D0G (Mathematics, English, Economics and Law Education).

Specifically, in 2025, Hanoi University of Industry plans to recruit 7,990 students for 62 undergraduate programs/majors using 5 admission methods (including 10 programs taught in English).
Method 1 involves direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training ; the school has no limit on the number of students admitted.
Method 2: The school selects students based on international certificate scores/awards for outstanding students combined with the overall academic transcript scores for grades 10, 11, and 12 in the three subjects of the chosen subject combination, with an expected quota of 10%.
Method 3: Admission based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam, with an expected quota of 80%.
Method 4 involves admission based on the results of the 2025 aptitude test organized by Hanoi National University, combined with the overall academic transcript scores for grades 10, 11, and 12 in the three subjects of the chosen admission combination, with an expected quota of 5%.
Method 5 involves admission based on the results of the 2025 aptitude test organized by Hanoi University of Science and Technology, combined with the overall academic transcript scores for grades 10, 11, and 12 in the three subjects of the chosen admission combination. The projected quota is 5%.
Last year's admissions season, Hanoi University of Industry increased its enrollment by 150 students by opening two new majors/training programs: Information Security and Chinese Language, bringing the total number of majors and programs to 52.
Also in 2024, Hanoi University of Industry plans to allocate 12 billion VND to scholarships for students with excellent entrance exam scores or academic achievements. In addition, the university will award scholarships sponsored by businesses, totaling approximately 30 billion VND.
