Sharing his feelings at the event, Mr. Saadi Salama, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Palestinian Embassy in Vietnam, recalled that Vietnam has left a deep impression on his heart since he was 12 years old.
Stemming from that sentiment, later, he did not hesitate at all when deciding to board a plane to Vietnam to work.
Until now, he still remembers every first word his school teachers taught him to learn Vietnamese: "Try and try harder," they advised him.
The Ambassador believes that teaching and learning Vietnamese is both a responsibility and a source of pride for teachers at the school, and a bridge to spread the wonderful images of the Vietnamese people to international friends.
"I always appreciate Vietnam's integration. If you only comment on Vietnam from afar, you will never understand the country and its people.
So come closer to see that, despite its small size, Vietnam has held an important position in the international arena," said Mr. Saadi Salama.
