The "Vietnam Education Innovation 2025-2026" awards ceremony was jointly organized by Microsoft, InterEdu Education Organization, and Van Lang University on October 25th in Ho Chi Minh City, to commend schools and teachers who are pioneers in applying technology in teaching, learning, and management.
These are the schools and education experts from Vietnam that Microsoft announced on September 24th. In the list of over 900 outstanding schools (SCS) and 43,000 Microsoft Innovative Education Experts (MIEEs) globally for 2025-2026, Vietnam has 29 schools and over 2,500 experts who were honored.

At the event, Van Lang University was officially recognized by Microsoft as a "model school"—becoming the first higher education institution in Vietnam to achieve this title.

In the 2025-2026 academic year, Van Lang University will have 91 lecturers recognized as "Microsoft Creative Education Experts". In addition, 188 lecturers will have achieved the Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE) international certification, including 107 lecturers who completed it in the 2024-2025 academic year and 81 lecturers who achieved it in the 2023-2024 academic year.
To date, Van Lang University has 1,858 staff, lecturers, and employees participating in Microsoft training programs (MIE, MCE, MIEE, Power BI, Excel Mastery); and more than 1,170 lecturers have participated in digital skills training on the Coursera platform with over 5,000 sessions.
The "exemplary school" title is awarded by Microsoft to educational institutions that are pioneers in educational innovation and digital transformation, through the effective application of Microsoft technologies and solutions in teaching, learning, and school administration.
Meanwhile, the "Microsoft Innovative Education Expert" title is awarded to educators who have innovative applications of technology in teaching, contributing to the spread of a culture of innovation and the development of digital skills in the global education community.
