Today, January 29, Trieu Phong district solemnly held a memorial service and buried the remains of 4 martyrs who were searched and gathered in Thuong Phuoc village, Trieu Thuong commune at the district's Martyrs Cemetery.

Previously, from December 20, 2023 to January 29, 2024, Martyr Remains Collection Team 584, the Provincial Military Command coordinated with relevant agencies of Trieu Phong district to search and collect 4 martyrs' remains in Thuong Phuoc village. The martyrs' remains were all located at a depth of more than 1 meter, along with many relics such as: buttons, cords, belts... wrapped in tents and hammocks. Initially, the authorities determined that these were the remains of martyrs who died in the resistance war against the US.

The memorial service and burial of the martyrs' remains took place in a solemn and emotional atmosphere, expressing the deep gratitude of the Party Committee, government and people of Trieu Phong district to the martyrs who heroically fought, sacrificed and remained on their homeland.
