On the current digital platform, along with bank transfer transactions, e-wallets such as Zalo Pay, Momo, Shopee Pay, etc. are also interested in developing by businesses and investors with the aim of serving the convenient payment needs of everyone. Realizing the convenience of e-wallets, young people have updated and quickly adapted to online payment methods and led the trend of using e-wallets for payment and transactions, thereby changing payment habits and using cash. The phrase "Scan QR code for payment" has become familiar to young people.
Ms. Le Thi Phuong, Hac Thanh ward, said: “For many years now, by using e-wallets, I have saved time traveling to make transactions to transfer and receive money. Along with that, buying and selling, paying electricity, water, phone subscription bills, booking train and bus tickets... are also done quickly and easily on e-wallets.”
Along with using e-wallets, grasping the benefits of payment methods by online transfer through the banking system, stores in the province also effectively use online transaction forms on digital platforms, creating convenience when transacting for customers.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Luan, owner of a computer repair and trading store on Tho Hac Street, Hac Thanh Ward, shared: “Since registering to install online payment applications on smartphones for the store, the number of customers using online bank account payments is the main one. This helps me optimize financial management and make payments effectively.” Mr. Luan added: “As a young person, I am always a pioneer in applying digital technology into practice. Besides, I also guide my family members to use it, so that the whole family can enjoy the benefits of digital transformation.”
Digital transformation is becoming a widespread wave globally. As pioneers, leaders, and masters of technology, young people are always actively studying, practicing, responding to, and spreading the digital transformation movement to the community. In 2025, closely following the core task of "Youth pioneering digital transformation", Thanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union launched a campaign throughout the Union to associate digital transformation with key activities and movements: Focus on promoting ideological education , ethics and lifestyle, arousing and enhancing pride in youth union members about the national tradition, the glorious revolutionary tradition of the Party and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; flexibly and creatively choosing work suitable to the development of the epidemic, starting to carry out specific and practical tasks in building new rural areas; Organize online competitions and contests organized and launched by the Provincial Youth Union... Through that, the spirit of digital transformation has spread to a large number of youth union members, attracting thousands of participants, followers, interactions and shares.
At all levels of the Youth Union, digital transformation activities have been strengthened and maintained effectively by Youth Union units with more than 4,000 community digital transformation groups; the rate of youth and children accessing digital capacity building activities has reached over 70%; youth using online public services and electronic payment accounts has become increasingly popular. Digital transformation models such as: "Digitizing red addresses, historical revolutionary sites, famous landscapes and landscapes, news of the union's activities on application platforms such as Zalo, Facebook, website, YouTube", implementing the model " Food map", "Cashless weddings and streets", "Smart tourism using virtual reality", "registering to participate in volunteer activities online.... continue to be developed and replicated. Notably, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has carried out 2 provincial-level projects to digitize historical revolutionary sites in the province; organized a golden bell contest to learn about digital transformation knowledge among youth union members; strengthened coordination in organizing online contests to learn about digital transformation knowledge...
Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Le Ngoc Anh, said: Up to now, in general, digital transformation has initially had a profound influence and spread widely to youth union members in union and association work as well as in daily life, especially helping to make union and association work more creative, rich and attractive. Although digital transformation is a new "opportunity" for young people to develop, work and contribute, it also promotes responsibility, requiring young people to constantly practice, strive and promote their talents and intelligence to catch up with the general trend of the world. Recognizing the role, responsibility and challenges of digital transformation, all levels of the Youth Union continue to focus on promoting digital applications in exchanging information on management, operation and organization of movements and activities of the Youth Union, associations and teams; at the same time, gradually shifting the activities, operations and management of the Youth Union organization to the digital environment.
