Propagating the results of the 6th Session of the National Assembly to cadres, people and voters of Ha Tinh

The 6th session of the 15th National Assembly concluded successfully on the morning of November 29th. During this important session, the delegation of National Assembly deputies from Ha Tinh province contributed many valuable opinions to help the National Assembly decide on important policies, creating momentum for future development.

After reaching an agreement with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front, the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies reported to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and requested that agencies, localities, and units proactively disseminate the results of the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly in appropriate forms to officials, the people, and voters in the province.

After 22.5 working days (Phase 1 from October 23 to November 10, 2023; Phase 2 from November 20 to the morning of November 29, 2023) with a spirit of innovation, unity, democracy, intelligence, urgency, and high responsibility, the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly has completed its entire agenda.

National Assembly Deputies of Ha Tinh at the closing session of the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

The National Assembly passed 7 laws and 9 resolutions, gave its third opinion on 1 draft law, its second opinion on 1 draft law, and its first opinion on 8 other draft laws; conducted a vote of confidence for 44 people holding positions elected or approved by the National Assembly; and carried out thematic supreme supervision on "The implementation of the National Assembly's resolutions on national target programs on building new rural areas in the period 2021-2025, sustainable poverty reduction in the period 2021-2025, and socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the period 2021-2030".

The National Assembly also conducted interpellation and answered questions regarding the implementation of several resolutions of the 14th National Assembly and from the beginning of the 15th term to the end of the 4th Session on specialized supervision and interpellation; considered and decided on socio-economic issues and the state budget; reviewed reports on the compilation of recommendations from voters and the people, reports on the results of supervising the resolution of voters' recommendations, and other important issues.

With thorough preparation and a high sense of responsibility, the delegation of National Assembly deputies from Ha Tinh province, led by Comrade Hoang Trung Dung - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the National Assembly delegation of the province, along with other National Assembly deputies, actively and effectively participated in the agenda items, making an important contribution to the overall success of the session.

At the 6th session, the National Assembly deputies from Ha Tinh province fully participated in all sessions and activities organized by the National Assembly and the delegation. In 29 plenary discussions, 7 group discussions, and 1 delegation discussion, 32 deputies from the delegation contributed important opinions on socio-economic issues, security and defense, the results of implementing National Assembly resolutions, and draft laws and resolutions. All contributions were highly appreciated by the session's chairman.

Provincial Party Secretary - Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Ha Tinh Province Hoang Trung Dung chaired the group discussion session.

The Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation was assigned as the Group Leader of the discussion group comprising National Assembly Deputies from the provinces of Cao Bang, Lam Dong, Ca Mau, and Ha Tinh. He conducted the discussion scientifically and effectively, summarizing many important discussion points from the National Assembly Deputies. The Provincial National Assembly Delegation presents a summary of its activities at the session as follows:

1. Regarding legislative work and resolution issuance: Delegates actively and proactively participated in discussions at group and plenary sessions, and submitted written comments on all draft laws and resolutions, especially: the Land Law (amended); the Housing Law (amended); the Social Insurance Law (amended); the Law on the Organization of People's Courts (amended); the Road Law; the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety; the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Auctioning Assets; the Law on National Defense, Security and Industrial Mobilization... The contents contributed by delegates with sharp arguments based on theoretical, scientific and practical grounds were highly constructive and in-depth, recognized and highly appreciated by the National Assembly and the people, and incorporated by the drafting committee.

2. During the discussion session on socio-economic issues and the State budget: Delegates from Ha Tinh province frankly discussed and assessed the strengths, achievements, and limitations and shortcomings in the Government's direction and management of socio-economic results and the State budget in 2023; and conducted a mid-term assessment of the implementation of the socio-economic development plan, economic restructuring, medium-term public investment, national finance, and public borrowing and debt repayment for the period 2021-2025.

3. Regarding the vote of confidence: Delegates from Ha Tinh province participated in the vote of confidence for 44 individuals holding positions elected or approved by the National Assembly, ensuring seriousness and adherence to the prescribed content, procedures, and regulations.

4. Regarding questions and answers: Delegates in the delegation directly questioned the Minister of Transport on the socialization of investment in the development of air transport and the reduction of traffic accidents; and questioned the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court on solutions to achieve targets and meet requirements for judicial reform and court operations. The Minister and the Chief Justice seriously considered the questions, provided frank explanations, acknowledged responsibility, and proposed specific solutions.

5. Regarding the review of the reports on judicial work of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court and the Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuracy; and the Government's reports on anti-corruption, crime prevention and control, and enforcement of judgments in 2023: Delegates from Ha Tinh province assessed the effectiveness of mediation and dialogue work at the courts, and proposed the dissemination of legal education on mediation and dialogue, and investment in ensuring the necessary conditions, regimes, and policies for mediation and dialogue work.

6. Regarding activities outside the session: In addition to the session's agenda, the delegation organized policy and legal consultation conferences related to the session; participated in the province's program to exchange experiences on implementing resolutions of the Party Congress at all levels mid-term in Binh Phuoc province; and met with and connected outstanding young people and students from Ha Tinh working and studying in Ho Chi Minh City; worked with the Ha Tinh Sustainable Development Consulting Group in Hanoi; and participated in meetings with several ministries, agencies, and localities. Between the two sessions, a thematic meeting with constituents was held on electricity sector activities.

In addition to the agenda of the session, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation held a working meeting with the Ha Tinh Sustainable Development Advisory Group in Hanoi.
