According to the list of candidates recommended for recognition as professors and associate professors in 2025 from the State Council of Professors, this year the field of law has no professor candidates and 23 associate professor candidates.
Dr. Le Thi Minh, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Law, Thu Dau Mot University, is the youngest candidate among the 23 candidates for associate professor in 2025 in the field of law - one of the most challenging fields of study, both in terms of training and in the criteria for recognizing professor and associate professor titles.

Ms. Le Thi Minh, born in 1986, is from Thanh Hoa province.
Ms. Minh graduated with a Bachelor of Law degree in 2008 from Ho Chi Minh City University of Law.
In 2014, she was awarded a Master's degree in Law, specializing in Economic Law, from the University of Economics and Law (Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City).
Six years later, in 2020, also at the University of Economics and Law (Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City), Ms. Le Thi Minh received her PhD in Law, specializing in Economic Law.
Immediately after graduating from university, from 2008 to March 2013, Ms. Le Thi Minh worked as a legal officer in the Legal Department of a joint-stock commercial bank, and later as a legal specialist at a securities company.
From April 2013 to the present, Ms. Le Thi Minh has been a lecturer in the Faculty of Law at Thu Dau Mot University. Her highest position to date is Deputy Head of the Faculty of Law at Thu Dau Mot University.
Dr. Le Thi Minh has three main research areas: Intellectual property rights for creative results generated by artificial intelligence (AI); Law on greenhouse gas emission quota markets; and Economic law related to businesses, investment, and banking and finance.
To date, Dr. Le Thi Minh has published 38 scientific articles, including 8 in prestigious international journals; and published 6 books, including 5 monographs and 1 foreign chapter.
In particular, according to the candidate's profile, Dr. Le Thi Minh's research on intellectual property rights for creative results generated by artificial intelligence (AI) is a field with virtually no clear legal precedent in many countries, including Vietnam.
Current regulations on copyright and industrial property rights are primarily based on the principle of human inventiveness. The lack of specific legal regulations on this issue can lead to complex disputes over the ownership, use, and exploitation of works and inventions created by AI.
Many countries around the world have been researching and enacting policies and regulations related to AI and intellectual property. Proactively researching and developing appropriate legal solutions will help better integrate with global development trends, attract investment, and develop the digital economy.
