Central Inspection Commission deploys tasks for the last 6 months of 2024

During the first six months of the year, the Politburo , the Secretariat, and Party committees at all levels consistently paid attention to leading, directing, and effectively implementing the Party's inspection and supervision tasks as prescribed. Accordingly, the content of inspection and supervision focused on the leadership, direction, and organization of the implementation of resolutions, directives, regulations, and conclusions of the Party and laws of the State; the prevention and fight against corruption, negative phenomena, and waste; the principle of democratic centralism and working regulations; organizational and personnel work; maintaining moral character and lifestyle; areas prone to corruption and negative phenomena; prominent and pressing issues in society and of public concern, especially signs of ideological and political degradation, moral decay, and lifestyle issues, "self-evolution," and "self-transformation." violations in specialized fields, closed activities... As a result, in 6 months, Party committees at all levels conducted inspections according to Article 30 of the Party Charter for 18,476 Party organizations (TCĐ) and 107,165 Party members (DV); inspected 131 TCĐ and 922 DV when there were signs of violations; through inspection, it was concluded that 720 TCĐ and 2,571 DV had violations and shortcomings; considered disciplining 45 TCĐ and 651 DV. Inspection committees at all levels conducted inspections when there were signs of violations of 804 TCĐ and 2,850 DV; concluded that 613 TCĐ and 2,390 DV had violations and shortcomings; considered disciplining 95 TCĐ and 1,137 DV. Party committees and inspection committees at all levels also conducted thematic supervision of 20,504 Party organizations and 55,795 Party members; through supervision, it was concluded that 988 Party organizations and 1,329 Party members had violations and shortcomings; requiring Party committees and Party organizations to conduct serious self-criticism, learn from experience, and consider and handle responsibilities according to regulations.

Comrade Nguyen Duc Thanh, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and delegates attending the conference at the Ninh Thuan provincial venue.

The conference discussed and clarified the achievements in implementing the Party's inspection and supervision tasks, as well as pointing out existing shortcomings, limitations, and difficulties. Based on this, recommendations and proposals were made for solutions and measures to achieve better results in implementing the tasks.

In his concluding remarks and directives for the implementation of key tasks in the last six months of the year, the Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee, Tran Cam Tu, requested that Party committees and inspection committees at all levels focus on overcoming limitations and difficulties, strengthening leadership and guidance, and comprehensively and effectively implementing tasks as prescribed. He urged continued serious, timely, and effective implementation of the Politburo and Secretariat's directives on inspection, supervision, and anti-corruption work; and the conclusions of the Politburo, Secretariat, and the Central Steering Committee on anti-corruption regarding complex and protracted cases under the supervision and direction of the Central Steering Committee and provincial-level authorities. He also called for strengthening inspection and supervision across various fields, focusing on inspections according to the Party Charter, asset and income declarations, and tasks assigned by Party committees, as well as inspections when there are signs of violations. Timely detection, inspection, and resolute handling of Party members and cadres who have degenerated in terms of political ideology, morality, and lifestyle, who are "self-evolutionary," "self-transformed," violate the rules that Party members are not allowed to break and the responsibility of setting an example, violate the principles and regulations of the Party and the laws of the State, engage in corruption, negative practices, group interests, and address prominent and pressing social issues. Coordinate and advise on the effective implementation of tasks assigned by the 14th Party Congress and the personnel assessment for Party congresses at all levels; resolve all petitions, complaints, and denunciations, especially those related to personnel matters for the congress. Continue to effectively carry out the work of building the sector; implement the rotation, training, and development of cadres, and prepare personnel for the Inspection Committee for the next term…
