The Central Inspection Commission reviews the Party's inspection, supervision and discipline enforcement work in the first 6 months of 2024.

On the morning of July 10, the Central Inspection Commission held a national online conference to review the Party's inspection, supervision and discipline enforcement work in the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2024. Comrade Tran Cam Tu - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission chaired.

At the Nghe An location, the meeting was chaired by comrades Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; and Pham Trong Hoang - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Inspection Committee.

In the first 6 months of 2024, the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo , the Secretariat and Party committees at all levels regularly paid attention to leading, directing and implementing inspection and supervision work; Institutions on inspection, supervision and party discipline work continued to be improved, creating conditions for the Central Inspection Committee and Inspection Committees at all levels to effectively carry out tasks according to the provisions of the Party's charter.

Through inspection, it was concluded that 631 Party organizations and 1,767 Party members had committed violations and shortcomings. Of which, 2 Party organizations and 67 Party members were considered for disciplinary action, and 1 Party organization and 65 Party members were disciplined. Inspection Committees at all levels inspected and concluded that 613 Party organizations with 2,390 Party members had committed violations and shortcomings, and 60 Party organizations and 910 Party members were disciplined. The related violations showed signs of degradation in political ideology, ethics, and lifestyle, self-evolution, and self-transformation.

Regarding the direction and tasks for the last 6 months of 2024, the Central Inspection Commission sets out the tasks for Party committees, Party organizations, and Inspection Commissions at all levels, especially the leaders, to continue to further improve awareness, responsibility, and proactively lead, direct, and organize the implementation of inspection, supervision, and discipline enforcement work of the Party. In particular, it emphasizes advising the Politburo, the Secretariat, and Party organizations to effectively implement and complete the inspection and supervision programs in 2024; Directive 35 of the Politburo on Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; Continue to do well the work of building the Party inspection sector, focusing on building a team of inspection cadres to meet the requirements of the tasks./.
