(NLĐO) - According to the Southern Region Meteorological and Hydrological Station, today in Ho Chi Minh City, the weather will be characterized by intermittent sunshine during the day with a high UV index, and unseasonal rain will appear in the afternoon.
Today, February 22nd, the weather in Ho Chi Minh City and other southern provinces will be mostly cloudy to mostly cloudy, with intermittent sunshine, scattered showers and thunderstorms, and locally moderate to heavy rain, mainly in the afternoon and evening; northeasterly to easterly winds will be at level 2 to 3.
The lowest temperature will be between 22-25 degrees Celsius; the highest temperature will be between 30-33 degrees Celsius, with some places exceeding 33 degrees Celsius.
Today, Ho Chi Minh City will experience rain in the late afternoon and evening.
In Ho Chi Minh City specifically, the UV index across all districts and communes remained high (level 7) today. Furthermore, the concentration of fine dust in Ho Chi Minh City, as warned by the AirVisual app, was many times higher than the permissible level set by the World Health Organization (WHO), posing a significant health risk to residents.
Therefore, people should limit going out during peak hours when the UV index is high; when going out, they should use sun protection measures, wear wide-brimmed hats, face masks, and sunglasses... to protect their health from the harmful effects of UV rays and fine dust that affect the skin and respiratory system.
