Speaking to Tuoi Tre Online on the morning of August 5, Mr. Vo Anh Tai - principal of Nguyen Khuyen High School (An Thang Ward, Da Nang City) - said he was verifying information about the social insurance debt of 474 million VND listed in the debt list of Da Nang City Social Insurance.

According to Mr. Tai, the school was only 2 months late in paying while reviewing the records of all staff to reorganize the apparatus.

"This is not a long-standing debt, but just a delay due to the process of reviewing the list and number of civil servants. I am asking the accountant to work with the insurance company to compare and clarify the data," said Mr. Tai.

Nguyen Khuyen High School is a public institution, using state budget for salaries and operations. The school has 68 staff members.

Previously, in a notice sent to agencies and units, Da Nang Social Insurance stated that 530 units owed social insurance with large amounts of money for a long time. Some enterprises owed up to 13-14 billion VND.

Notably, in this list is Nguyen Khuyen High School with a debt of 474 million VND.
