Vietnam Airlines updates operating hours at Tan Son Nhat T3 terminal

(Chinhphu.vn) - In order to enhance convenience and optimize passenger experience, Vietnam Airlines will adjust its plan to move all domestic flights to Tan Son Nhat Terminal T3 instead of the previous plan from April 28.

Currently, Vietnam Airlines operates flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, and Van Don, from Terminal 3.

Based on a review of operational practices, Vietnam Airlines will coordinate with relevant units to agree on the implementation schedule and update official information to passengers as soon as possible.

Currently, Vietnam Airlines operates flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi , and Van Don from Terminal 3. Other domestic routes of Vietnam Airlines, along with flights of Pacific Airlines and VASCO, continue to be operated from Terminal 1 until further notice.

Since relocating some flights to Terminal 3, the airline's operations there have received close and effective coordination from the Vietnam Airports Corporation and related units, contributing to a convenient journey and a consistent service experience for passengers.

As of April 26th, Vietnam National Airlines has safely operated over 390 flights and served more than 100,000 passengers at Terminal 3, affirming its synchronized and professional operational capabilities from the very beginning of its operation.

Vietnam Airlines and related units proactively developed and meticulously prepared operational plans for Terminal 3, with various flexible scenarios to adapt to the actual situation during the initial operational phase. The adjustment of the schedule for the complete relocation of all domestic flights demonstrates proactive management, aiming to optimize passenger experience and ensure efficient synchronization among operating units at Terminal 3.

Previously, on April 19th, Terminal 3 of Tan Son Nhat International Airport was officially inaugurated and put into operation, becoming a large, modern passenger terminal with a total designed capacity of 20 million domestic passengers per year. The terminal is equipped with a comprehensive infrastructure system, advanced technology, and a spacious, airy environment, aiming to provide a convenient, fast, and comfortable experience for passengers. The commissioning of Terminal 3 has contributed to improving the service capacity and quality at Tan Son Nhat International Airport.
