Vietnamobile and Coc Coc accompany and sponsor the Vietnamese Sports Delegation at the 33rd SEA Games

VHO - On the afternoon of December 3, at the Vietnam Sports Department, the announcement ceremony of the sponsors for the Vietnamese Sports Delegation participating in the 33rd SEA Games was held. Accordingly, Vietnamobile Mobile Telecommunications Joint Stock Company and Coc Coc Company Limited officially became the sponsors of the Vietnamese Sports Delegation at the Games.

Speaking at the ceremony, Head of the Vietnamese Sports Delegation at the 33rd SEA Games - Deputy Director of the Vietnam Sports Department Nguyen Hong Minh highly appreciated the support of the sponsors. Practical support in technology, communication and connection from the two businesses will help coaches, athletes and delegation officials feel more confident and comfortable during the competition in Thailand.

Mr. Nguyen Hong Minh said that with the attention of the leaders of the Party, the State, and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the preparations of the Vietnamese Sports Delegation have been basically completed. The athletes have been trained, competed, and practiced thoroughly before leaving for the Games.

The Vietnamese Sports Delegation to the 33rd SEA Games has 1,165 members, including 842 athletes, 189 coaches, 19 experts, competing in 47/66 sports, with a total of 443/573 events. It is predicted that this SEA Games will be very fierce, but the whole delegation is determined to achieve the best results, bringing glory to the Fatherland.

With the recently signed contract, Vietnamobile – a digital infrastructure service provider – will sponsor 1,500 high-speed, high-capacity international eSIM cards for coaches, athletes and delegation officials. Through the eSIM solution, Vietnamobile hopes to create an “uninterrupted connection circuit”, helping the delegation proactively communicate, conveniently update competition schedules and support professional and technical work throughout the journey at the 33rd SEA Games.

In parallel, Coc Coc – a Make in Vietnam technology company, the owner of a popular browser and search engine in Vietnam – will join the communication campaign to cheer on the Vietnamese Sports Delegation.

Mr. Tran Van Manh, General Secretary of the Vietnam Olympic Committee, expressed his wish to continue receiving support from Vietnamobile, Coc Coc and the business community, especially timely bonuses to encourage athletes to achieve high results.

He emphasized: "The support of the business community is a great source of motivation, contributing to creating outstanding achievements and bringing Vietnamese sports to the regional and continental level."
