Vina Securities Joint Stock Company (VNSC) announced that it has completed the distribution of bonds of DNSE Securities Joint Stock Company (DNSE) with a total value of VND300 billion. This is a batch of non-convertible corporate bonds, with a term of 24 months, without warrants and without collateral. Each bond issued has a face value of VND100,000. Investors need to buy at least 10 bonds, equivalent to VND1 million based on the face value of the bond.

Vina Securities Joint Stock Company (VNSC), a member company of Finhay, is the official channel for distributing bonds of DNSE Securities Joint Stock Company (DNSE) with bond code DSEH2426001, with a total issuance value of 300 billion VND. The bonds of DNSE Securities Joint Stock Company have a total offering value at par value of 300 billion VND. This is a non-convertible corporate bond lot, without warrants and without collateral. Each bond issued has a par value of 100,000 VND. Investors need to buy at least 10 bonds equivalent to 1 million VND calculated at par value. The bonds have a term of 24 months, paying interest every 6 months.

The bonds have a combined fixed and floating interest rate. The first two interest periods have a fixed interest rate of 8.5%/year. The interest rate for the following interest periods is calculated by the average interest rate of 12-month personal deposits at Vietcombank, BIDV, Vietinbank, Agribank + a margin of 3.5%/year. This is the first time DNSE has issued bonds to the public, after many previous private bond issuances.

The capital raised from the issuance is intended to supplement capital for securities advance payment services and margin trading as well as to increase capital for securities trading and investment in valuable papers.

According to a representative from VNSC, after 2 weeks of launching the sale, the company has received a lot of attention from investors. Of which, the number of individual customers accounts for 94%. This shows that the attention of individual investors is shifting to corporate bond products through the support of distribution channels.

Individual investors account for the majority in DNSE's initial bond offering.

According to VIS Rating, in 2024, the number of bonds issued to the public will increase by 30% compared to 2023, reaching VND46 trillion. Of which, only 8.9% of the total newly issued bonds will come from public offerings. The successful offering of DNSE bonds is a favorable start and a positive signal for the market.

Recently, on December 19, 2024, DNSE Securities paid an interim dividend for 2024 in cash at a rate of 5%, or VND 500/share. With 330 million shares in circulation, it is estimated that DNSE needs to spend VND 165 billion to pay interim dividends to shareholders. Previously, the Company's 2024 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders held in April 2024 approved a plan to pay a maximum cash dividend of 10% (VND 1,000/share). This dividend rate is higher than the rate of 5% in 2023 and 2% in 2022.
