VTV controls sexy outfits of beauties competing in 'Dancing with the Stars'

Dancing with the Stars is a reality TV show about dancing, which first aired in 2010. After an 8-year hiatus, the show has returned with a new version.

"Dancing with the Stars 2024" brings together a host of beautiful women.

Mr. Nguyen Vong Ngan, Head of the Arts and Culture Department at Vietnam Television, stated that 14 years ago, "Dancing with the Stars" was one of the most popular programs, loved by many viewers. Therefore, Vietnam Television wishes to introduce an entertainment program, a unique art form, alongside its singing game shows.

This season features a lineup of stunning women, so it's inevitable that the beauties will choose revealing outfits for their performances.

Responding to questions about dress code control on television, Mr. Ngan affirmed: "Many programs nowadays feature beautiful women and famous artists, so clothing is also a matter that receives attention."

With programs broadcast on Vietnam Television, viewers can rest assured that they all undergo a rigorous editing and review process at multiple levels, in accordance with the regulations of the programs we partner with. During filming, the station's crew closely monitors and accompanies the program to address any issues on set. We also control costume matters from the very first episodes."

The artists are rehearsing for the show.

Speaking further about the innovations this year, Ms. Huynh Thanh Tuyen - representative of the production company - said that the program will return with a new look, from its format to its content.

Eliminated players will be replaced by new players. The producers revealed that a maximum of 5 players will be eliminated.

This season also has several other new features, such as all players being female, and the organizers not pairing players up like in previous seasons; instead, players draw lots to choose a suitable dance partner.

Furthermore, the producers emphasized that to create an engaging experience for the audience, breakthroughs and drama (dramatic situations) are necessary.

"Unlike the previous seven seasons, in addition to competing in dancing skills, the organizers have also incorporated situations that require players to reveal their personalities and emotions. Clashes and conflicts are inevitable. However, these must occur on a genuine basis, not staged," Ms. Tuyen added.

Taking on the role of program advisor, "dancesport queen" Khanh Thi believes that this year's competition is more interesting with the participation of both Vietnamese and Korean contestants.

"I'm the first person so far still sitting in the audience for 'Dancing with the Stars'. I understand the contestants' participation process. This year, I witnessed Bulgarian dancers pairing up with Korean stars. For the most part, everyone uses English as their primary language of communication."

"What I appreciate about the Koreans is their serious and professional work ethic. They can work from morning until late at night without complaining, and there's something special about them in the challenges that I admire," she shared.

The Dancing with the Stars 2024 program will air in early November 2024 on VTV3.
