On September 24th, the police in Bu Dang district, Binh Phuoc province, announced that they had summoned Nguyen Ngoc B. (15 years old, residing in Tho Son commune, Bu Dang district) to the police station for investigation and clarification of the act of intentionally causing injury to another person.
As reported by Thanh Nien newspaper, at approximately 10:30 AM on September 20th, during recess, T.T.D. (10th grade TN8, Bu Dang High School) was sitting on a stone bench in front of the classroom. At this time, NH.A. (11th grade TN7, same school) and a group of friends walked past and looked at D. D. believed that A.'s group was "staring at him disrespectfully," leading to a conflict between the two sides.

After school, D. told Nguyen Ngoc B. (whom he met on Facebook) about being beaten and, who was also standing near the school gate, suggested that B. retaliate against A.'s group. When they saw A. leaving the school gate, D. and B. rushed forward and repeatedly punched and kicked A. in the head and face before fleeing. A. was then taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
The police in Duc Phong town, Bu Dang district, summoned T.T.D. for questioning. Nearly two days later, B. was also summoned by the police and had a report filed for investigation into the act of intentionally causing injury. The police are awaiting the results of the injury assessment of NHA to strengthen the case file and investigate and handle the matter according to regulations.
The Department of Education and Training of Binh Phuoc province stated that it is awaiting the results of the police investigation to have grounds for strictly handling the students involved in the incident where an 11th-grade male student was severely injured after being "beaten by a group of students."
