Verifying the group of people fighting in a coffee shop in Ho Chi Minh City

On October 9, the authorities of Thu Duc City (HCMC) are verifying the case of a group of people fighting at a sugarcane juice shop on G Street, An Phu Ward.

At around 12 noon on October 8, a group of about 4 men were sitting drinking water at the above location, a short while later 2 more men appeared. After a while of talking, the group suddenly started fighting.

According to the clip recorded by local people, 3 people in the group assaulted 2 men, the remaining person rushed in to stop them. At that time, this group used tables and chairs of the restaurant to fight, and used bricks and long sticks to threaten their opponents.

Upon discovering the incident, some locals rushed in to stop the group, but they left shortly after. At the scene, tables and chairs were scattered, and some cafe equipment was damaged.

An Phu Ward Police have been informed of the incident, and initially the authorities have determined that there were no casualties. The authorities are inviting those involved to come forward and handle the matter in accordance with the law.
