During the operating period on July 10, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance decided not to make provisions or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for all products.

After adjustment, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline increased by VND214/liter to the new price of VND19,659/liter; RON 95 III gasoline increased by VND184/liter to VND20,090/liter.

From 3:00 p.m. on July 10, RON 95 III gasoline exceeded 20,000 VND/liter.

While fuel oil decreased by VND244 to VND15,563/kg, diesel oil and kerosene increased by VND429 and VND239, respectively, to new prices of VND18,837/liter and VND18,371/liter.

Explaining the adjustment decision, the joint ministries said that the world oil market from July 3-9 was affected by many complicated factors. Escalating tensions in the Red Sea region, the ongoing Russia-Ukraine military conflict, along with information about the US's new import tax policy and the increase in crude oil inventories in the US have caused world oil prices to fluctuate inconsistently.

The average price of finished products in the world during this period has tended to increase in most commodities, of which diesel oil price increased the most by 2.72%, to 89.2 USD/barrel. In contrast, fuel oil decreased slightly by 0.44%, to 418.9 USD/ton.
