On November 27th, information from the Hanoi Police Traffic Department indicated that from November 1st to November 24th, traffic police across the city handled nearly 2,300 traffic violations involving students. Among these, 517 cases involved driving without the necessary qualifications, and 275 cases involved handing over vehicles to unqualified individuals.
Police say they will continue to investigate and take action against those who handed over vehicles to unqualified individuals.
On the road, the main traffic violations committed by students were: not wearing helmets (over 1,900 cases), carrying too many passengers (17 cases), not obeying traffic lights (11 cases)...
This unit has observed that after a long period of implementing the peak campaign, the number of students violating traffic rules and driving on the road has tended to decrease. Parents have become stricter in managing their children's use of vehicles.
In the coming period, traffic violations involving students will continue to be strictly enforced by traffic police teams and special task forces, even though the peak period has ended.
According to observations by Tuoi Tre Online on the morning of the same day in the Thanh Nien, Quan Thanh, and Thuy Khue areas (Tay Ho district, Hanoi), traffic violations by students driving on the road are no longer common; however, many still act carelessly, thinking that because the distance is short, they can violate the rules.

The 14-year-old boy was riding a motorbike with a friend but neither was wearing a helmet. "I was just going to have breakfast about 100 meters from school, so I was careless. Now I have to call my dad to bring the paperwork to resolve this," he said.
