Yen Dinh launched the campaign "All people practice physical exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" and the 29th Thanh Hoa Newspaper Cross-Country Race

On the morning of March 2, Yen Dinh district organized the launching ceremony of "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", the Olympic Running Day "For the health of all people" and the 29th Thanh Hoa Newspaper Cross Country Race, Running for community health of Yen Dinh district in 2025.

At the ceremony, the leaders of Yen Dinh district launched the "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", the Olympic Running Day "For the health of all people", and at the same time highlighted the meaning and importance of physical training and sports, improving health for the majority of people in the area. This is the basis for Yen Dinh district to organize physical training and sports activities for everyone to achieve the best results, thereby promoting the strong development of the physical training and sports movement.

Following the launching ceremony, delegates and 400 representatives from all walks of life, including the armed forces, youth union members, students, and athletes from communes, towns, agencies, units, schools, and businesses in Yen Dinh district, enthusiastically participated in the Olympic Run "For the Health of All People" with a distance of 1km.

The 2025 Yen Dinh District Cross Country Race had the participation of nearly 200 athletes from 30 delegations from communes, towns, high schools, vocational training and continuing education centers and armed forces in the area. The athletes competed enthusiastically in two traditional distances: 3,000m for women and 5,000m for men. The achievements of the athletes this year were basically improved compared to previous years.

At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded medals and prizes to the first, second and third place male and female individual athletes; and consolation prizes to the athletes finishing from 4th to 10th place. At the same time, the first, second and third place male and female team prizes and the overall team prizes were awarded to the participating units with high achievements.

Through this tournament, Yen Dinh district will select the best athletes to participate in the 29th Thanh Hoa Newspaper Cross Country Race "Run for the health of the whole people" - 2025.
