The Council for the 2023 Outstanding Young Vietnamese Award has just announced the list of selected individuals. Nominations were chosen across nine fields (the field of Public Administration Management had no nominations). In particular, the field of Scientific Research and Innovation had two nominees selected by the Council as Outstanding Young Vietnamese of 2023.

The outstanding and promising young Vietnamese figures of 2023 are exemplary role models with impressive achievements, providing strong inspiration, such as:
Nguyen Duc Cuong (singer Den Vau) - from a young man working as a sanitation worker in Quang Ninh, with a love for music , Nguyen Duc Cuong became a leading rapper in Vietnam and spread inspiration for life and dedication to the community under the stage name Den Vau.
Dr. Ngo Quoc Duy - Deputy Head of the Department of Head and Neck Surgery, K Hospital achieved the first reported achievement in thyroid treatment in Southeast Asia, successfully implementing the technique of robotic thyroidectomy through the oral vestibular approach in the treatment of thyroid cancer. This is a milestone marking the development of the surgical profession in general, as well as in the field of thyroid surgery in particular in Vietnam.
Dinh Cao Son, winner of the International Chemistry Olympiad Gold Medal with a score ranking 7th in the world; Dang Cat Tien, a 9th-grade student who served as "Chairperson of the National Assembly" in the first Children's National Assembly mock session, are exemplary young Vietnamese figures.

The awards ceremony for Outstanding Young Vietnamese of 2023 will take place in Hanoi, tentatively scheduled for the evening of March 23rd.
Regarding the reward, in addition to the certificate of merit from the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; the commemorative medal of the Outstanding Young Vietnamese Faces Award in 2023. Along with that, there is a cash reward for outstanding young faces of 50 million VND/person; 20 million VND/person for promising young faces.
The "Outstanding Young Vietnamese Face" award is a prestigious award from the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, aiming to honor exemplary young people under 35 years old who have achieved outstanding accomplishments in various fields.
The award motivates the development of young talents and promotes the emulation movement of studying, training, scientific research, labor, creativity... In addition, it strengthens and develops the Youth Union, Association, and Team organizations and attracts the attention of all levels, sectors and the whole society to the cause of education and nurturing the young generation.
