The 2024 high school graduation exam is drawing to a close. Compared to 2023, the exam has not encountered any unfortunate incidents regarding leaked exam questions.
The number of candidates violating exam regulations decreased significantly compared to 2023. Specifically, there were 7 candidates in the literature exam (12 in 2023), 3 candidates in the mathematics exam (4 in 2023), and 9 candidates in the combined subject exam (22 in 2023).

The night before the first exam on the morning of June 27th, rumors of a leaked literature exam paper surfaced on social media. The person spreading the rumor was a 12th-grade male student. The Ministry of Education and Training subsequently denied the leak. The fact that the work "The Country" was correctly predicted was merely "coincidence".
According to data from the Ministry of Education and Training, this year's high school graduation exam has 1,071,393 registered candidates, an increase of more than 45,000 compared to 2023. Of these, 46,978 are independent candidates, accounting for 4.38%.
Across the country, 2,323 examination centers have been set up, an increase of 51 centers compared to last year.
Hanoi continues to be the locality with the highest number of candidates taking the high school graduation exam, with 109,078 candidates.
The next four positions are Ho Chi Minh City (90,062), Thanh Hoa (38,775), Nghe An (37,044) and Dong Nai (34,088).
The objectives of this year's high school graduation exam remain unchanged. The exam results serve the purpose of determining high school graduation, providing a basis for university and college admissions, and evaluating the quality of management, teaching, and learning at educational institutions.
The guiding principle of the exam is to prioritize the students, ensuring that students, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds and remote areas, can take the exam. No candidate should be prevented from reaching the exam site due to economic difficulties or transportation challenges.
The Steering Committee for the 2024 High School Graduation Examination in each locality is to thoroughly implement the "4 Right - 3 No" principle during the examination process.
The four "Right" aspects include: Adherence to examination regulations and guidelines; adherence to proper and complete procedures; fulfilling assigned duties and responsibilities correctly; and timely handling of unusual situations and incidents.
3 Things to Avoid: Don't be careless or overconfident; Don't be overly tense or stressed; Don't handle unexpected situations or incidents on your own.
