Kinhtedothi - Four department directors of Lao Cai province have applied for early retirement to facilitate the implementation of the Central Government's policy on innovation and reorganization of the political system.
According to a report from the Department of Home Affairs of Lao Cai province, as of mid-February 2025, the province had 4 officials who were directors of the Departments of Finance, Agriculture and Rural Development, Tourism, and Science and Technology applying for early retirement.
In addition, there are 2 deputy directors of departments who submitted applications for early retirement (1 Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology and 1 Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development).
It is known that the Department of Home Affairs is reviewing and synthesizing the number of cadres applying for early retirement from localities to have a plan to report on arrangement and reorganization in the coming time.
Along with that, implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Home Affairs coordinated with the Department of Finance to study and guide the implementation of policies for cadres who wish to retire early according to the Government's decrees.
To ensure the operation and management of agencies and units implementing the organizational arrangement immediately after their establishment, the Department of Home Affairs (based on the request of agencies and units) requested the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to consider and submit to the Provincial Party Committee the policy of settling early retirement for leaders under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the policy of implementing the plan to arrange and perfect the leadership positions under the management of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee.
