401 large electricity customers in Hai Duong participate in load adjustment

Customers participating in load adjustment are large customers with electricity consumption reaching more than 1 million kWh/year.

Hai Duong Power Company regularly disseminates to customers the contents, benefits, and ways to participate in the load adjustment program.

As of March 25, Hai Duong Power Company Limited has signed agreements with 401/410 major customers to participate in the load adjustment program, reaching 97.8%. It is expected that these customers will reduce and adjust their load by about 240.7 MW in 2025.

Customers participating in load adjustment have electricity consumption of more than 1 million kWh/year, and are promoted and encouraged to participate in the program by Hai Duong Electricity One Member Co., Ltd. When participating, businesses will have to adjust their capacity and output during the peak dry season or local power shortages. In case there is no power shortage, customers do not have to reduce according to the plan.

In 2024, these 401 customers will also participate in the program, but because there is no shortage of electricity, they will not have to reduce electricity.

Encouraging large customers to participate in load adjustment is an important solution towards the goal of reducing electricity usage during peak hours, especially as the dry season approaches.
