"I Don't Love Spring" is a song written by composer Nguyen Thanh Trung, expressing a touch of "jealousy" towards spring. In the eyes of this flamboyant and sensitive composer, spring is likened to a beautiful girl, but when spring passes, the "muse" in the composer's heart also disappears. Spring takes the girl away, and the scenery is no longer spring... Composer Nguyen Thanh Trung shared that he wrote the song for a minor key in 4/4 time, then in the chorus it shifts to a major key, raising the time to 2/4, before returning to a minor key for a more profound tone to suit singer To Ngoc Ha's voice.
The song "I Don't Love Spring" is enough for composer Nguyen Thanh Trung to complete his musical repertoire of songs about all four seasons. Prior to this, he had songs such as " Burning Summer," "Autumn Returns to Life," and "Winter Misses You ." All of these songs were performed by To Ngoc Ha.
