NDO - Located about 80km north of Beijing, the Huanghuacheng Great Wall is a national 4A-level tourist area famous for its beautiful natural scenery. Because there are three sections of the Great Wall in low-lying areas submerged in water to act as a dike to prevent water from flowing inside, it is called the Water Great Wall.

Hao Minh Lake is formed by natural streams flowing down from the mountains, the lake surface area is 18.4 hectares, the average depth is 10 meters, the deepest point is up to 30 meters. The lake water quality meets national level I standards, can be used as a source of drinking water.

Because the terrain is lower than the lake level, there are sections of the wall submerged under the water, creating a unique scene of "the wall submerged in water, the water embracing the wall".
