Tropical depression changes direction, moves faster when entering the East Sea

At 1:00 a.m. on December 10, the center of the tropical depression was located in the northern sea area of ​​the South China Sea, about 200 km southwest of Song Tu Tay Island, continuing to move in the West Southwest direction, at a speed of about 20 km/h. The strongest wind near the center of the depression was level 6, gusting to level 8. Thus, the current forecast shows that the tropical depression is unlikely to strengthen into a storm.
