ASEAN Ceramics 2023 brings together the most influential companies in the ceramics industry in Southeast Asia

ASEAN Ceramic Exhibition 2023 will be held at the International Exhibition Center in Hanoi , Vietnam (ICE) from November 28 - 30, expected to attract more than 200 companies and brands to display their products.

On July 28, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Construction Ceramics Association and Messe München GmbH Group held a press meeting to inform about the Fair.

ASEAN Ceramics 2023 is the leading international exhibition on machinery and equipment, technology and materials for the production of ceramic tiles, sanitary ware, household ceramics, fired clay tiles and high-end ceramic products. This event promises to bring together the most influential companies/corporations in the ceramics industry in Southeast Asia.

ASEAN Ceramics 2023 is sponsored by the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam and domestic and foreign trade associations - Association of Italian Ceramic Machinery and Equipment Manufacturers (ACIMAC), Building Materials Branch of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), Thai Ceramics Association, Bangladesh Ceramic Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BCMEA), Vietnam Household Ceramics Association (VCCA), Vietnam Association of Building Materials (VABM), Vietnam Institute of Building Materials (VIBM).

With the theme “Building a sustainable future, innovation and green production towards efficiency through digitalization, automation, use of alternative fuels, energy recovery, waste reduction and reuse”, this year’s exhibition will emphasize sustainability and technological advances that drive the development of the ceramic industry.

The exhibition and specialized seminars will bring together the world's leading suppliers and leading Southeast Asian manufacturers to promote trade cooperation, technical exchange and continue to invest in technology to improve ceramic quality standards to meet all the complex requirements of the international market.

Sharing at the press conference about the Exhibition on July 28 in Hanoi, Mr. Michael Wilton, CEO and Managing Director of MMI Asia, commented that the ceramics industry in Southeast Asia is holding great opportunities when there is a combination of infrastructure construction and development programs of ASEAN governments and the increase in Vietnamese ceramics production for export to APAC, US and European markets.

“We are committed to providing an optimal Exhibition event to showcase machinery and equipment, technology, raw materials and production methods to support the further development and advancement of the ceramics industry,” Mr. Wilton affirmed.

According to Mr. Dinh Quang Huy, Chairman of the Vietnam Construction Ceramics Association, in the past 10 years, the Southeast Asian ceramics manufacturing industry has grown rapidly, becoming one of the most vibrant development regions in the world.

In Vietnam alone, the current capacity of ceramic tiles is over 800 million ^m2 /year, sanitary ware reaches 24 million products/year along with the field of household ceramics and other ceramic products, ranking in the Top 10 leading ceramic producing countries in the world, an attractive destination for suppliers of ceramic production machinery and equipment.

"ASEAN Ceramics 2023 has gradually established a position in the list of ceramic industry events in Southeast Asia and the world with an increasingly expanding scale in terms of both product categories on display, industry sectors, and number of visitors," Mr. Huy assessed.

Sharing the same view, Mr. Tong Van Nga - Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Building Materials (VABM) emphasized: "Vietnam is one of the powerhouses in building materials in general and ceramics in particular. Coming to ASEAN Ceramics 2023 will be an opportunity for the Vietnamese ceramics industry to connect and develop, access new technologies and new equipment that the world brings for cooperation".

Within the framework of ASEAN Ceramics 2023, visitors will witness many modern solutions, technologies and machines at this year's exhibition such as: Breakthrough solutions from Laboratorios Argenol (Spain) - BactiBlock antibacterial additives effectively inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria, providing long-term protection in various applications by Behn Meyer; The latest decoration and color techniques for household porcelain, tiles and glass by Izawa Pigments; The latest precious metal materials for decorating ceramics and glass as well as for technical applications used in many fields such as the automotive, aviation or electronics industries by Heraeus Precious Coatings...
