This transformation begins with the awareness that "the people are the main actors," a belief in the openness and transparency of the government, and the efforts of each individual citizen in the journey of building a livable rural area.

The green, clean, and beautiful concrete roads in Bac Ruong.

The people's strength creates the village roads.

Visiting Bac Ruong today, you can easily spot smooth concrete or asphalt roads leading into each residential area. The roads are clean and beautiful, with streetlights, security cameras, and flowers and trees planted on both sides, adding to the peaceful atmosphere of the countryside.

Notably, many road projects were implemented under the principle of "the State and the People working together," but there were also quite a few sections built entirely through voluntary contributions from the people, without using any state budget.

Mr. Le Van Binh, a resident of Hamlet 2, shared: “We contribute not only for the common good of the hamlet, but also because we are clearly aware that we are the direct beneficiaries. When there are beautiful roads, spacious houses, and a convenient life, everyone is happy.”

Many of the roads were built with voluntary contributions from the local people.

In Bac Ruong, this spirit of solidarity is also reflected in cultural institutions. The village cultural center, a place connecting the people and the government, is increasingly being invested in and upgraded to meet the needs for meetings, activities, arts, and sports .

In particular, each village management board has established a common communication group to update and implement work quickly and transparently. This approach helps ensure that all policies reach the people clearly, creating a high level of consensus.

"

Openness, democracy, and transparency are key to building trust. When the people are united, even the most difficult tasks can be accomplished.

Thanks to this, many projects in the villages and communes have been implemented smoothly, contributing to creating a new look for this rapidly transforming rural area.

The lives of people here are increasingly improving.

According to a representative of the Bac Ruong Commune People's Committee: The locality recognizes that agriculture remains the mainstay, but it must be linked to trade, services, and digital infrastructure for sustainable development. Beyond economic changes, Bac Ruong is also focusing heavily on investing in social infrastructure.

Currently, over 90% of the commune's rural roads have been concreted or asphalted. Many irrigation works, schools, health stations, and cultural centers have been upgraded to meet the needs of socio-economic development. The percentage of households using clean water has reached 100%. The digital infrastructure system is gradually being completed.

Many administrative procedures at the commune level are now handled through online public services, saving time and improving management efficiency. Criteria for healthcare, culture, education, and sustainable poverty reduction have all been met as prescribed. Security, national defense, and social order are maintained, creating a sense of security for people to settle down and establish their livelihoods.
