At the meeting, the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department reported on the situation and results of the Steering Committee's activities in the first six months of the year; outlined some key work contents for the last six months of the year; and discussed the direction and handling of cases and incidents under the Steering Committee's continued monitoring and guidance. The meeting participants discussed, provided feedback, and clarified any obstacles and emerging issues. According to the assessment, in the first six months of 2024, the Steering Committee continued to innovate its methods and content, effectively carrying out its assigned tasks and powers; regularly directed anti-corruption work in the assigned areas, fields, and specialized topics; and coordinated with judicial agencies, sectors, and localities to closely monitor the situation, progress, difficulties, and obstacles in the process of resolving and handling cases and incidents. As a result, 4 out of 5 cases and incidents were concluded and removed from the monitoring and guidance list. At the same time, one case was placed under monitoring and guidance as requested by the Central Steering Committee.

Directing the key tasks for the last six months of the year, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the Steering Committee to focus on leading and directing the strict implementation of the conclusions of the Central Steering Committee and the Provincial Party Standing Committee, and the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee on the tasks of preventing and combating corruption and negative practices; directing relevant agencies to coordinate and advise on effectively resolving outstanding and emerging cases and incidents. Party committees and governments at all levels should continue to take measures to strengthen state management in all fields, especially those prone to corruption and negative practices such as land, public order management, public asset management, budget revenue and expenditure, and basic construction investment. They should also intensify propaganda efforts, effectively implement solutions to prevent corruption and negative practices, and seriously carry out self-inspection, supervision, auditing, and handling of complaints and denunciations. Strengthening inspection, supervision, and control of power, and combating corruption and denunciation in lawmaking and inspection, handling complaints and denunciations, especially in areas prone to corruption and negative practices, and in prominent, pressing issues of public concern.
