On December 26th, Viettel Phu Tho, in coordination with the Provincial Youth Union, organized the inauguration and handover of the "100 Dong House" to the family of Mr. Dinh Van Luong - Secretary of the Youth Union branch in Hon area, Xuan An commune, Yen Lap district.
Representatives from Viettel Phu Tho presented the financial support for the construction of the "100 Dong House" to Mr. Dinh Van Luong.
Mr. Luong's family is classified as a poor household with 7 members. His parents are elderly and frequently ill, and his children are young and still in school. The entire family lives in a dilapidated single-story house with mud walls and a thatched roof, which is in serious disrepair and unsafe.
In that situation, through surveys and connections by the Phu Tho Provincial Youth Union, the Viettel Military Industrial and Telecommunications Group supported Mr. Luong's family with 90 million VND from the "100 VND House" fund to build a new 70m2 house (total construction cost over 400 million VND). The remaining amount was covered by local departments, organizations, and relatives, as well as neighbors who contributed materials and labor.
The "100 Dong House" program's funds are contributed by Viettel's youth union members, who donate 100 dong per day with the spirit of "A small action, a great deed," to jointly support the construction of housing for families of employees, policy beneficiaries, families with meritorious service to the revolution, and families with particularly difficult housing circumstances. |
After more than two months of construction, the "100 Dong House" has been completed and put into use, bringing joy to Mr. Dinh Van Luong's family. This is a meaningful act demonstrating the spirit of mutual support and solidarity for the poor by businesses, departments, and organizations in the locality. Through this, Mr. Luong's family has more motivation to improve their lives and gradually stabilize their situation.
