Education and Times Newspaper awarded 100 scholarships to poor students in Ninh Thuan

The program “Support to School” is a traditional community-oriented social activity of the Education and Times Newspaper. Over the past 14 years, the program has received enthusiastic support from organizations and philanthropists, contributing to sharing education in disadvantaged areas.

Speaking at the program, journalist Duong Thanh Huong, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Education and Times Newspaper, said that during the process of establishment and development, in addition to professional work, Education and Times Newspaper has always strived to share with education in disadvantaged areas, with the desire to contribute to helping students reduce difficulties in life, so that they can feel secure going to school.

During 14 years of implementing the program "Support to School", Education and Times Newspaper has shared with tens of thousands of poor students overcoming difficulties across the country.

“Today, the Education and Times Newspaper organized the program “Support to School” in Thuan Bac district with meaningful gifts to encourage students with difficult circumstances but still trying to excel in their studies. The Education and Times Newspaper hopes that the practical gifts from the Newspaper and the sponsoring unit sent to the students will help them have more learning conditions, more motivation to overcome difficulties, and continue studying in the upcoming school year” , emphasized journalist Duong Thanh Huong.

In the program "Support to school" in Thuan Bac district, the organizing committee awarded 100 scholarships (each worth 1 million VND) and 200 gifts to students in difficult circumstances in the area.
