Provincial Social Insurance Agency: Disseminating information and holding dialogues on social insurance and health insurance policies for workers and business owners.

On the afternoon of October 21, the Provincial Social Insurance (PSI) coordinated with the People's Committee of Son Nam Ward to organize a conference to propagate and discuss social insurance and health insurance policies for more than 350 freelance workers and small business owners in Son Nam Ward.

Overview of the conference.

At the conference, provincial social insurance officials disseminated and introduced several new points in the 2024 Social Insurance Law; the Law amending and supplementing some articles of the 2024 Health Insurance Law; and voluntary social insurance and family health insurance policies. The focus was on introducing new regulations regarding retirement benefits and other benefits; regulations on groups of people required to participate in social insurance and health insurance, as well as those participating in voluntary social insurance and family health insurance; contribution rates, payment methods, and administrative procedures for participation… The aim was to help business owners and workers understand the advantages of participation and the benefits they are entitled to under social insurance and health insurance policies.

Provincial social insurance officials also answered many questions related to the regulations, rights, obligations, and responsibilities when participating in compulsory and voluntary social insurance and health insurance.
