On May 27th, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (PC04) of Lam Dong Provincial Police announced that they had just apprehended a group of individuals for illegally transporting, possessing, and selling narcotics in Da Lat City (Lam Dong province).

Previously, PC04 identified Lo Thi Tinh (45 years old, residing in Lam Ha District, Lam Dong Province) as the ringleader of a drug trafficking network that brought drugs to Lam Dong for retail sale to addicts. Tinh hired male workers to help with gardening and selling flowers, but in reality, they were involved in drug dealing.
On May 22, police identified Truong Thi Hieu (45 years old, residing in District 4, Ho Chi Minh City) as transporting drugs to Lam Dong province to deliver to Tinh.

At approximately 7:45 AM on May 23rd, at a hotel on Dong Tam Street, PC04, in coordination with the Da Lat City Police, apprehended Tinh red-handed along with evidence including nearly one block of heroin, one package of ketamine disguised in a pastry box, nearly 500 million VND, two mobile phones, one motorbike, and various related items and documents.
Through quick questioning, Hieu confessed to transporting drugs from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Lat City to deliver to Tinh.

During a search of Tinh's residence on Cao Thang Street, police apprehended a related suspect, Vu Dinh Phuong (32 years old, residing in Phu Cu District, Hung Yen Province ), and seized 7 packets of methamphetamine (crystal meth), 7 packets of heroin, and 26 ecstasy pills. These drugs were hidden by Tinh in a safe intended for sale to addicts in Da Lat City.
Expanding the investigation, at approximately 1 PM on the same day, at Slope No. 7, Trai Mat, a task force apprehended Vu Tien Dai (34 years old, residing in My Duc District, Hanoi ) in the act of illegally buying and selling narcotics. Authorities seized 30 packets of heroin. He was the main buyer of drugs from Tinh, then resold them to other individuals for profit.
PC04 is currently detaining Tinh, Hieu, Phuong, and Dai for further investigation into the case.
