Young man arrested for hiding more than 16,000 drug pills at friend's house

On November 20, Quang Ninh District Police, Quang Binh Province, said that the unit had just discovered and caught Le Anh Thang (29 years old, residing in Nghia Ninh Commune, Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh) illegally possessing 16,181 pink synthetic drug pills.

At that time, Thang was at his friend HNT's house (38 years old) in Le Ky 2 village, Vinh Ninh commune. He was caught red-handed when the Criminal Investigation Police Team on criminal, economic and drug crimes of Quang Ninh District Police was coordinating with the authorities and Vinh Ninh Commune Police to patrol in Le Ky 2 village.

Initially, Thang confessed that all the pills were synthetic drugs in the form of pink pills that he had brought back to hide at T.'s house to use and sell for profit. Quang Ninh District Police then filed a case, arrested the offender red-handed, and seized all the evidence.

Previously, at around 7:00 p.m. on November 3, the Hue City Police Task Force (Thua Thien - Hue) suddenly inspected the residence of Mai Van Hai Hoang (born in 1973) on Hoai Thanh Street, Thuy Xuan Ward, and seized 2,317 red tablets and 20 blue tablets. Hoang confessed that all of the above evidence was synthetic drugs in the form of pink pills, which he bought to sell for profit.

Also related to drugs, on the morning of October 17, an interdisciplinary force including Customs, Border Guard and Quang Tri Police inspected a 16-seat passenger car driven by Dang Kim Hung (residing in Loc Bon commune, Phu Loc district, Thua Thien - Hue) while completing customs clearance procedures through La Lay International Border Gate (Quang Tri).

Through the X-ray images, the joint force discovered that at the bottom of the Latasoy milk box were many round, pink tablets with the letters "WY" embossed on the surface. The drug testing machine gave a warning result of drug detection.

After making a record, the authorities arrested the recipient according to the location and phone number listed on the package. At 3:35 p.m. the same day, in La Son village (Loc Son commune, Phu Loc district), they caught Nguyen Quang Linh (born 2002, residing in Nam Phuoc village, Loc An commune, Phu Loc district) receiving the goods at the garage. The seized evidence was 2,000 drug pills.

Initially, Linh said he came to receive the drugs on behalf of a person named Huynh Dai (unknown year of birth, residing in Nam Phuoc village). However, during the investigation and investigation, Linh confessed that he was the owner of all the synthetic drugs.
