Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee has decided to establish a Steering Committee for key national projects in the province.

Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to discuss and resolve issues related to the Quy Nhon - Pleiku Expressway Project.

Key projects include: Site clearance for the North-South High-Speed ​​Railway Project through the province and the Quy Nhon-Pleiku Expressway Project.

The Steering Committee is headed by Mr. Ho Quoc Dung, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee.

The Board has 8 Deputy Heads, who are Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee and Vice Chairmen of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee.

In addition to the leaders of departments and branches, the Steering Committee members also include the Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Committee of the communes and wards where the project passes.

According to the Decision on establishment, the Steering Committee is responsible for inspecting and promptly resolving difficulties and problems in the process of project implementation.

In particular, for the North-South High-Speed ​​Railway Project passing through the province, the Steering Committee is responsible for inspecting, urging and directing relevant agencies, units and localities to carry out compensation, site clearance and resettlement work.

For the Quy Nhon – Pleiku Expressway Project, the Steering Committee will direct the implementation of the project to ensure goals, progress, quality and compliance with legal regulations.
