Binh Dinh inaugurates traffic route connecting North-South expressway with coastal road

The Coastal Road Connection Project (DT.639) in Hoai Nhon town has a length of 7 km, with a total investment of 786 billion VND.

Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee has just held the inauguration ceremony of the Coastal Road Connection Project (DT.639) in Hoai Nhon town.

The project of the connecting route with the coastal road (DT.639) in Hoai Nhon town has the starting point intersecting with DT.638 road at Km 19+291 in Hoai Thanh Tay ward; the end point intersecting with the coastal road (DT.639) at Km 99+206 in Tam Quan Nam ward.

The project has a total investment of 786 billion VND, of which the central budget supports 400 billion VND, the rest is used from the provincial budget.

The route is designed according to the standards of a grade III plain road with a design speed of 80km/h; the route length is about 7km, the roadbed width is 22m; passing through the wards of Hoai Thanh Tay, Hoai Thanh, Tam Quan Nam of Hoai Nhon town.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee, said that the project started construction in April 2022. After more than 2 years of construction, the project has been completed with quality and progress according to the set plan.

The route opens up a new development space, contributing significantly to the socio -economic development of Hoai Nhon town and Binh Dinh province in the coming time.

“The project to build the coastal road connection route (DT.639) in Hoai Nhon town, inaugurated and put into use today, is a very important traffic route, aiming to meet transportation needs, strengthen traffic connection in the East - West direction (from the North - South expressway to the coastal road), creating conditions to promote the socio-economic development of Hoai Nhon town”, said Mr. Hoang.
