Minister Le Hoai Trung congratulated Ambassador Dhan Bahadur Oli on presenting his credentials to President Luong Cuong, officially beginning his term as Ambassador to Vietnam.
The Minister suggested that, building on 50 years of good friendly relations between the two countries, both sides should coordinate more closely, exploiting potential and advantages to deepen and strengthen cooperation in various fields.
The Minister requested the Ambassador to strengthen connections between ministries, agencies, businesses, and associations of the two countries; to soon establish a consultation mechanism between the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs; to establish cooperative relations between the Vietnam Federation of Trade and Industry and the Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry; and to encourage airlines to open direct or convenient connecting flights between the two countries…
Ambassador Dhan Bahadur Oli emphasized that Nepalese leaders highly value their relationship with Vietnam and wish to learn from Vietnam's experience and model of socio-economic development and international integration. The Ambassador affirmed that specific plans will be developed to promote bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, energy, science and technology, culture, tourism, education and training, while also strengthening people-to-people exchanges between Vietnam and Nepal.
