Hair salons and beauty parlors in Ha Tinh City are entering their busiest season of the year due to the increased demand for beauty treatments to prepare for Tet (Lunar New Year).

Since the beginning of December, Galaxy hair salon (Ly Tu Trong Street, Ha Tinh City) has been bustling with customers. On average, the salon receives 30-40 customers per day, double the usual number. At many times, the salon has to work overtime until 10 PM to serve customers.

While getting her hair done in preparation for Tet (Lunar New Year), Ms. Ho Huyen Trang (Thach Linh ward, Ha Tinh city) shared: "The closer it gets to Tet, the higher the demand for beauty services, so I chose to get it done a month in advance to avoid having to wait in line."

According to surveys, there are hundreds of hair salons in Ha Tinh City. Popular hair services during this period include perming, dyeing, washing, hair restoration, and hair extensions, with prices ranging from 300,000 to 1,200,000 VND per service. Currently, large hair salons in the area such as Galaxy, Bi Saigon, Duong Nguyen, Tien Tran, Thai Bao, Hoang Thanh, Dung Ivan... are also regularly updating new trends to serve women who want to beautify themselves for the Year of the Dragon.

Besides hair services, beauty spas are also working overtime to cater to women seeking beauty treatments. Popular services include facials, acne extraction, eyebrow tattooing, and eyelash extensions. Prices vary depending on the chosen package. Currently, spas mainly offer eyebrow tattooing services with prices ranging from 700,000 to 3,000,000 VND per service.

Ms. Le Ha My, owner of Ha My Spa (Nguyen Du Street, Ha Tinh City), shared: “Anticipating market demand, two months ago we opened a second branch to serve the needs of our female customers. Currently, the two branches average over 40 customers per day, a 30% increase compared to normal days. To show our appreciation to customers, we are also running promotional programs with services such as: skin tightening for only 699,000 VND (original price 5 million VND); multi-layer skin rejuvenation for only 499,000 VND (original price 3 million VND)...”.

To attract customers during peak season, most spas in Ha Tinh City are implementing various promotional programs, discounts, and special offers for loyal customers. Most services are offered at significant discounts if booked as part-time packages for multiple people. At Mam Spa (Nguyen Du Street, Ha Tinh City), customers with a bill of 5 million VND or more can participate in a lucky draw with attractive prizes and cash up to 500,000 VND.
