Wards and communes of Bac Giang city give nearly 5 thousand gifts to meritorious people

(BGDT) - On the occasion of the 76th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day July 27 (1947-2023), in addition to the gifts from the President, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the People's Committee of Bac Giang City, the city's wards and communes presented nearly 5,000 gifts to people with meritorious services to the revolution.

Each gift is worth 500,000-600,000 VND from the "Repaying gratitude" Fund and socialized resources. Implementing the direction of the City People's Committee, wards and communes promote the emulation movement "Communes and wards do a good job of war invalids and martyrs", "Repaying gratitude" to mobilize resources to take care of the material and spiritual life of the elderly.
