Many vehicles are banned from serving the Dong Da Mound Festival.

Starting today (February 2nd), the Hanoi Department of Transport is implementing traffic adjustments to serve the 236th anniversary celebration of the Ngoc Hoi - Dong Da victory (1789-2025) on Dang Tien Dong street, the section between Tay Son and Trung Liet.

Vehicles can follow this route: Tay Son - Thai Ha - Trung Liet - Tran Quang Dieu - Vo Van Dung - Hoang Cau - Thai Ha - Tay Son and vice versa. Specifically, the Hanoi Department of Transport will adjust traffic organization from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM on February 2nd, 2025 to organize the festival.

During this period, car traffic will be prohibited on Dang Tien Dong street from the intersection with Tay Son street to the intersection with Trung Liet street (except for buses and vehicles with the Organizing Committee's emblem); bicycles and motorbikes can circulate as normal.

Vehicles can travel along the following streets: Tay Son - Thai Ha - Trung Liet - Tran Quang Dieu - Vo Van Dung - Hoang Cau - Thai Ha - Tay Son and vice versa.

People will be able to park their bicycles and motorbikes for free when attending the Go Dong Da Festival.

Between 6 PM and 11 PM on February 2nd, 2025, traffic will be rerouted to facilitate the live broadcast of the festival. During this time, all vehicles will be prohibited from traveling on Dang Tien Dong Street from the intersection with Tay Son Street to the intersection with Trung Liet Street (except for buses and vehicles with the Organizing Committee's emblem).

Vehicles can travel in the following direction: Tay Son - Thai Ha - Trung Liet - Tran Quang Dieu - Vo Van Dung - Hoang Cau - Thai Ha - Tay Son and vice versa.

The Hanoi Department of Transport has requested the People's Committee of Dong Da District to coordinate with functional units of the Hanoi City Police to ensure security, order, and traffic safety for the organization of the festival and the live broadcast of the 236th anniversary of the Ngoc Hoi - Dong Da victory (1789-2025) on Dang Tien Dong Street (section from Tay Son - Trung Liet).

Every year, as spring arrives, on the 5th day of the first lunar month, the Ngoc Hoi - Dong Da Victory Commemoration Festival is held to remember the great contributions of the national hero Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue, along with the generals, the Tay Son rebels, and the people of that time who bravely fought against foreign invaders and protected the nation's independence.

This year, the festival will be held over three days, from February 2nd to 4th, 2025 (corresponding to the 5th to 7th day of the first lunar month of the Year of the Snake 2025). During the festival, there will be many special activities such as: incense offerings and rituals by local ceremonial groups; palanquin processions; lion and dragon dance performances; Binh Dinh Gia martial arts demonstrations; chess and human chess competitions; calligraphy writing; and presentations of traditional arts...

The difference this year is that the 236th anniversary celebration of the Ngoc Hoi - Dong Da victory will be held on the evening of February 2nd, 2025 (the 5th day of the first lunar month) at Dong Da Cultural Park instead of in the morning as in previous years.
