Accordingly, the Deputy Prime Minister affirmed that primary healthcare and preventive medicine play a particularly important role in the healthcare system, but are also the most challenging units of the healthcare sector. Therefore, in the coming time, appropriate policies are needed to attract and retain qualified healthcare professionals to work continuously in this field.

The Prime Minister has assigned the Ministry of Health to take the lead and coordinate with relevant ministries, agencies, and localities to urgently develop a plan to implement the tasks assigned by the National Assembly in Resolution No. 99/2023/QH15. Based on this, the Government and the Prime Minister will consider appropriate and adequate salary, allowance, and benefits for health officials, civil servants, and public employees, including population and family planning officials and other health workers.
