Phan Quang Hien Vinh, a 12A2 student at Dinh Tien Hoang High School (Vung Tau Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) achieved 30/30 points in the A00 group (Math, Physics, Chemistry) in the 2025 high school graduation exam, becoming one of the national valedictorians of the A00 group.
Not only did Hien Vinh get three 10s in the university entrance exam, he also got 7 points in Literature, bringing his total admission score to 37/40. This achievement is not only a source of pride for him personally, but also makes his family and school emotional and proud.
Before entering the graduation exam, Hien Vinh had won second prize in the provincial excellent student competition for three consecutive years, and ranked second in the competency assessment exam of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education.
Mr. Phan Ngoc Tan, Principal of Dinh Tien Hoang High School, assessed Hien Vinh as an excellent student, always leading the class throughout three years of high school. He is disciplined, serious in his studies and is especially passionate about Mathematics. Hien Vinh does not take extra classes outside but mainly self-study through advanced books and lectures on social networks. He especially loves Mathematics and natural sciences .
In the eyes of his family, Hien Vinh is a calm, introverted person, but he is very enthusiastic in sharing with his relatives whenever he solves a difficult problem. He often uses his prize money to buy books and experimental equipment, showing his true passion for science.
With this excellent result, Hien Vinh plans to apply to the Mathematics Pedagogy major at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, hoping to become a teacher in the future, continuing to spread the love of Mathematics to the next generation.
According to the Ministry of Education and Training , this year's high school graduation exam had 9 candidates nationwide achieving perfect scores of 30/30 in the A00 and B00 groups.
