Major fire breaks out at a warehouse in Viet Hung ward (Hanoi).

Around 6:30 PM on September 6th, a fire broke out at a warehouse in front of the Thong Nhat match factory (Ngo Gia Tu Street, Viet Hung Ward, Hanoi).

According to initial information, at the time mentioned, residents discovered a fire originating from a warehouse in front of the Thong Nhat match factory (Viet Hung ward). Within minutes, the flames blazed fiercely, with a column of black smoke rising dozens of meters into the air.

Many people living near the scene quickly fled outside to avoid being affected. Upon receiving the report, the authorities of Viet Hung ward quickly arrived at the scene to extinguish the fire and assist the residents.

The Fire and Rescue Police force deployed numerous specialized vehicles and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading. Because the factory contained flammable materials and strong winds caused the fire to flare up intensely, firefighting efforts were difficult. Police used specialized equipment to break down walls to gain access and extinguish the fire inside.

By approximately 7:30 PM, the fire was largely under control. Authorities continued to extinguish the remaining flames completely and assess the damage caused by the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
