38-year-old girl dated 1,000 times but still hasn't found her 'soul mate'

Suzan Mutes (38 years old) lives in Sydney, Australia. She has had two serious relationships in the past. Over the past 8 years, she has attended more than 1,000 dates. On average, she has 3 dates per week.

She revealed that she's dated so many guys that sometimes going on dates is just a way for her to avoid having to cook at home. She still maintains at least one date a week.

She admitted to having high expectations for her future partner. Her ex-boyfriend used to give her pocket money and always made sure she had a car so she wouldn't have to use public transport.

After a date, if she's not satisfied, she declines by using an automated email. "I don't like wasting time. I send a thank-you email for the wonderful evening, but it wasn't right for me," she said.

In her quest for love, she's had some hilarious and awkward dates.

In 2021, a guy asked her out, but he brought another woman along. She was surprised and didn't know about this plan. She quickly left the date and never saw him again.

On another occasion, she and her date were out. While they were eating, a flock of ducks suddenly appeared. He tried to chase them away but ended up falling into the water. As a result, she had to wade into the water to help him, ruining her designer dress in the process.

In 2023, a guy tried to impress her with a home-cooked dinner, but he ended up burning the pan. His blackened face and subsequent offer of pizza didn't help him win her over.

Despite facing many obstacles, Suzan remains optimistic. She aims to find true love by 2025. She hopes to inspire women in their 30s who are on their journey to finding love.

"I want a fairytale ending, I want to meet that special someone and get married. I will continue to try and hope that person will appear soon," she shared.
